Our Organization


AFROTRADE was designed with the logic of the market place in the center of the village, where each seller operates independently, but all collaborate for common success and prosperity.

The logic is therefore not competition, but synergy and collaboration to grow together. In traditional terms, it is a market, in Web terms it is a commercial social network.

The shops can be used as a showroom for goods and products, or as real e-commerce sites: the common characteristic is great ease of use, because they must be managed by people without knowledge IT: in fact, they are easier to use on the most common social networks.

An organization active in many countries also needs a structure and an operational logic. For this reason, we did not want to create a centralized company in the hands of those who created it, like Facebook or Amazon, but we chose an approach of cooperation and synergy in which the most experts support others on a voluntary basis. and proactive.

This approach is therefore based on very important reference figures, which work with a network logic:

Partners - These are the pillars of the system: organizations that can support everyone with their resources and technologies. These are mainly companies and associations operating in the fields of communication, marketing, trading, finance, didactics and ITC technologies.

Experts - They are recognized consultants in their sector, operating at international level, and who can intervene on request to develop initiatives and new projects, and support operators in national and international trade. They constitute a real network extended to Africa and Europe and often collaborate with each other to provide multifunctional knowledge. The most requested knowledge covers the same sectors already mentioned for the partners

You can find HERE information on the experts who currently support our project, their areas of expertise and the countries they maintain usually professional relationships with. Others have expressed interest and will be added gradually.

Reference points - These are people of reference who support the development of virtual stores in each country. They are provided with software to set up stores in their country and store managers can be contacted for assistance and advice. The reference points can organize courses and workshops, free or paid, to promote AFROTRADE initiatives and technologies.

The AFROTRADE Coordination Team supports this local activity by creating international contacts, promoting collaboration and trading initiatives, and developing web and social marketing actions.
